Step1:One big potato. Two small ones. Peel and slice, steam in a pot.
Step2:Add some starch (potato starch and corn starch) and white pepper powder and a little salt (not a little more with a bottom taste). Add starch in several times until it is kneaded into a dough that does not stick to hands.
Step3:Dough is not sticky.
Step4:Sprinkle a little powder on the chopping board to prevent sticking. Roll it out into 5 or 6 mm thick pieces. Use a round mold to clamp the shape. Use chopsticks to pierce two small eyes. Then use a small spoon to carve the mouth. The rest of the dough is kneaded again and rolled into pieces to press out the shape. Repeat until you run out.
Step5:Heat the oil until the wooden chopsticks are foamed. Fry the potato cakes until they are golden on both sides and drain the oil. Use the oil absorption paper to remove the oil slick.
Step6:It's hot with ketchup. It's too fragrant to stop.
