Two days ago, I made a large piece of marinated beef and left some small pieces of leftover materials to be processed. I thought of which vegetable to help stew. I tangled for a while between potatoes and white radish. I decided to choose white radish. Mustard oil in radish can promote gastrointestinal peristalsis, increase appetite, help digestion, and it's low in calories. With beef, it can supplement protein without gaining weight.
Step1:Prepare ingredients - beef, white radish. Seasoning - red oil bean paste, onion, ginger, star anise, pepper, Xiangye, cinnamon, grass fruit, fennel, rock sugar, Huadiao wine (cooking wine), soy sauce, soy sauce, salt.
Step2:Wash and cut the beef into chunks of the same size. Peel the radish, wash and cut into thick slices.
Step3:Put cold water in the pot. Put in the beef pieces. Open fire and boil until the blood froth rises. Take it out and wash it for use.
Step4:Add some oil into the clean pot. Heat the onion and ginger slices. Stir fry the bean paste with red oil. Add the beef cubes. Pour in the Huadiao wine along the edge of the pot. Stir evenly and add enough hot water. Add in the raw soy sauce, old soy sauce, rock sugar, star anise, Chinese prickly ash, Xiangye, cinnamon, grass nuts and fennel. After boiling for a while, change to medium low heat and slow stew.
Step5:Stew the beef in the pot for an hour. Add the prepared white radish. Add some salt. Continue to stew for half an hour until the beef is soft and the radish is transparent. Then turn up the heat and collect the thick soup. Then put out the pot and dish.
Step6:So far, braised beef with Radish is ready.
