Rougamo is a special snack in Shaanxi. It's served with cold skin, ice peak and authentic Sanqin set meal. Many foreigners come to Shaanxi for the first time. They can't understand this. It's clearly that there's meat in the bun. Why should we call it rougamo? In fact, this is an inverted sentence. The original meaning is that meat is added to a bun. The emphasis is on meat. It makes people salivate when hearing the name.
Step1:Mix flour, yeast, baking powder, salt and warm water to make a smooth dough.
Step2:Cover with plastic film. Ferment for about 1 hour. The dough is about 1 times larger.
Step3:Divide the dough into 4 parts. After rounding, brush a little cooking oil on the surface and relax for 15 minutes.
Step4:Rub the loose dough into strips.
Step5:After flattening, roll it out with a rolling pin.
Step6:Fold the patch in half.
Step7:Roll it up from one side. Put the end on the bottom of the cake.
Step8:After the cake embryo is relaxed for 10 minutes, roll it out with a rolling pin, put it into a pan, and bake it over a small fire. Oil is not required in the pan until both sides of the cake are golden and yellow.
