Step1:Wash the spareribs; put water in the pot to boil. Put in the washed spareribs. Pour in a little cooking wine. After the water is boiled, remove the froth.
Step2:Take out the ribs. Wash away the dirt on the ribs with water.
Step3:Put water in the pot. Put in the ribs and ginger slices. Cover the pot.
Step4:Change the water to a small fire after boiling. Slowly boil for an hour.
Step5:Wash the lotus root and scrape off the skin. Cut it into thicker slices. Put the lotus root slices in the soup pot and boil for another 40 minutes or so until the ribs are soft and rotten. Add some salt to taste when drinking.
