Cooking Steps

1. 

   Step1:After peeling the sweet potato, cut it into uniform strips with a knife. Then wash it with water for several times. Wash off the starch on the surface of the sweet potato strips.

2. 

   Step2:Put the dried sweet potato strips into a larger basin. Add 2 tablespoons of starch. Then shake the basin left and right to make the starch evenly wrapped on the strips.

3. 

   Step3:Put some oil into the pot. Heat the oil to about 50% of the heat. Fry the sweet potato strips slowly over low heat. After the strips are softened, control the oil and take out.

4. 

   Step4:Heat the oil to about 70% heat. Put in the sweet potato strips again. Fry for about 30 seconds. Wait for the surface of the sweet potato strips to harden. Cut them into brown color, and then control the oil. Deep fry the sweet potato chips twice. It's Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.

5. 

   Step5:Pour half a bowl of water and 3 tablespoons of sugar into the pot. Cook slowly over a low heat. Stir constantly with the spoon.

6. 

   Step6:Boil the sugar water into transparent syrup. When cooking, make sure to use a small fire. It's easy to boil the sugar over too much heat. Don't boil the syrup until it changes color, or it will be drawn.

7. 

   Step7:After the syrup is cooked, put in the fried sweet potato strips and stir fry them quickly to make them white and hang on the syrup evenly. It's better to sprinkle some white sesame seeds on them to serve.
