Step1:1. Pour 500g flour into the pot. A bag of flour bought by the supermarket is 1kg. Half a bag can be used. 2. Pour 5g yeast powder into the bowl. A bag of yeast powder is 12g. 5g is about half a bag. Put some more white sugar. White sugar also promotes fermentation. Melt the yeast and sugar in warm water. 3. Pour the yeast and sugar water into the pot. Stir with chopsticks. Mix the flour togethe
Step2:Use your hands to knead the dough into a dough. Then put the pot in a clean big plastic bag. Put it on the electric blanket. You can cover it with a small blanket. All these are to make the dough ferment faster. You don't have to do that in summe
Step3:When the dough changes to twice the time difference before, it will ferment. It took me about 4 hours
Step4:If you're not sure if the dough is fermented, you can poke it open with your fingers and see it looks like a sponge inside. It means it's OK
Step5:Take the fermented flour out of the pot, rub it to expel the gas, then knead it into a long strip, cut it with a knife equally, and then knead it into the shape of steamed bread
Step6:Put the steamed bread on the steamer. Pay attention to the distance between each steamed bread. Cover the steamer with plastic wrap and put it on the electric blanket. Wake up for about half an hour. It's OK when the steamed bread is light and floatin
Step7:After boiling the water in the pot, put the steamer in. Steam it all the time. Turn off the fire half an hour later.
Step8:After turning off the fire, be careful not to open the lid immediately. Wait about 10 minutes. Wait for the heat in the pot to dissipate. Then slowly lift the lid of the pot. Be sure to slow down. Otherwise, the cold air outside will make the steamed bread smalle
Step9:When the steamed bread is out of the pot, put it on the cloth to cool. Keep some for the last day or two. Others can be frozen in the refrigerator.
