Step1:Wash water bamboo. Cut into 1 cm thick and 3 cm long strips. Set aside.
Step2:Put the oil in the pot. When the oil is hot, pour it into the water bamboo and stir fry in high heat.
Step3:When the water bamboo is softened, add some soy sauce and continue to stir fry.
Step4:Let the water bamboo be evenly colored. When it is almost done, add sugar and salt to taste. Then pour in the water starch (two spoonfuls of corn starch. 50ml of water). Thicken it over high heat. Add a small amount of chicken essence to make it out of the pot.
Step5:The tender braised water bamboo leaves the pot with sweet taste.
