The cool and smooth mung bean sand is the holy product to cool down and eliminate fire in summer. What's rare is that it's easy to make. It can be easily made regardless of the cooking skill. If there is a blender or a wall breaking machine at home, it will make the mung bean sand more delicate and even. The taste is thick. I made it with Jiuyang mixer. The effect is very good.
Step1:Peeled mung beans are purchased directly. Remove the husks mechanically and boil the bean paste directly. You don't need to cook while removing the green skin. It will save a lot of process and time.
Step2:Rinse the mung bean with wate
Step3:Put enough water in the pot. The proportion of water and mung bean is more than 10-1. Otherwise, it will be easy to boil and dry later
Step4:When the fire is over, turn it to a small one. Remove the froth. Add the icing sugar. Stir occasionally. Avoid the paste. Keep the lid open and simmer for 40 minutes.
Step5:After 40 minutes, the water content has been reduced to the level of even mixing with mung beans. If you think it's thin, boil it for a few more minutes to let the water evaporate further. If the taste requirements are not particularly high, then the mung bean sand is ready to be eaten.
Step6:If you want the sand to be even and fine, you can use a blender or a wall breaking machine to stir it slightly.
Step7:It's OK to put it on cold food. It can also be made into popsicle
