Valentine's Day is really a steak house killing day. With a red wine that has tripled the price, you can't get a meal without $100. Just recently bought a new grillpan to try out the effect. I found that the delicious steak was so good. In the future, the carnivores will eat steak in minutes.
Step1:The meat (I have prawn here, but the recipe is mainly barbecue) is taken out of the refrigerator and refrigerated for at least 1530 minutes to return to room temperature. Use kitchen paper to dry the meat. This can ensure that the meat is tender outside and inside. Mix salt, black pepper and garlic powder in the proportion of 3-1-1 (or according to your own taste) for standby.
Step2:Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (205 degrees Celsius). Spread a thin layer of oil on the meat and shrimp. I used less than two tablespoons of oil in all. Spread the seasoning evenly and press it onto the meat surface. I use koshersalt. It's coarse, low sodium and suitable for barbecue.
Step3:Here I want to talk about cooking. It's better to use a pot that can be put directly in the oven. I use a special pot for barbecue here, but a good quality pan is OK. If there is no pot that can be put in the oven, put it in the oven before at least one pan is preheated. Pour one or two spoonfuls of oil into the pot when it's hot and smoky. Then put the beef on two large sides and fry for 1.5 to 2 minutes (according to the thickness of the steak). Then fry the sides until the color changes. Fry all the surfaces and put them in the preheated oven. Half a pound of veal chops from 8 minutes to 3 mature, 10 minutes to 5 mature, 12 minutes are basically weldone. A bigger pound or so of steak may take an extra minute. It is recommended to put a small piece of butter on each steak before putting it into the oven. Step4:After the steak is roasted, be sure to leave the heat source and put it in a plate, gently cover it with tin paper and let it stand for about 10 minutes. If you cut into the gravy too early, the meat will be especially dry.
Step5:Additional - put the pot back on the stove while it's still hot. Roasted shrimps do not need to be roasted in the oven until they are completely discolored. The steak itself is delicious. If you want to make a red wine sauce, you can cut off the fire and pour in a glass of red wine after roasting the shrimp. The alcohol is immediately turned into steam and transferred to a small pot with a little balsamic vinegar. Throw in a spoonful or two of butter and stir gently over low heat until the butter melts.
Step6:If you have time, you can make some side dishes. Add some red wine. It's less than 30 yuan (15 yuan for two steaks and four steaks) for two people whether they eat wine or no
