Melon tea is a kind of beverage made of wax gourd and sugar and boiled for a long time. Donggua tea has been used in Taiwan for a hundred years. With sugarcane juice and green grass tea, it can be called the three ancient ice drinks in Taiwan.
Step1:Wash the wax gourd. Dice the peel and seed
Step2:White gourd with brown suga
Step3:Mix the brown sugar and wax gourd. Let stand for more than 30 minutes. Melt the brown sugar to make the juice
Step4:Heating winter melon with small fir
Step5:After boiling, simmer slowly over a small fire. Add some ice suga
Step6:Turn off the fire after all the wax gourds are soft and rotten. Strain out the soup.
Step7:You can't drink it all at once. It can be sealed and refrigerated. When drinking, scoop up a spoon. Add some sweet osmanthus and warm water.
Cooking tips:1. The skin and seeds of winter melon should be kept. 2. It is suggested to put more winter melon and brown sugar at a time. Because there are no more than a few. 3. There are skills in keeping the cold and sealed food and cooking.
