Because I'm a full-time mom with kids on my own. Time is too luxurious for me. So I will try my best to study some simple and convenient complementary food methods that can be produced in one pot by various nutrients. Children are more likely to accept different methods, shapes and ingredients. Here I use sweet potatoes and green beans. They are fiber rich ingredients. Especially suitable for constipated babies.
Step1:Prepare the ingredients. I use mutton here. It can be changed into pork and beef.
Step2:Boil the green beans in boiling water for five minutes. Remove and drain. Peel off each grain. Then mash it with a tool. You don't have to mash it too much. It's almost OK. If all the green beans are complete, the steamed balls will not look good.
Step3:Dice the mutton. Stir in the scallion and baby sauce. Marinate for 10 minutes. Dice the sweet potato. Break up the eggs.
Step4:Put the diced sweet potato, green beans and two-thirds of the egg mixture into the marinated mutton and mix well.
Step5:Add flour and stir. Because the water absorption of flour is different, it is recommended to add flour in several times. Observe the state of batter while stirring. Stir until it's sticky and moldable, and it's not easy to collapse.
Step6:Spread oil paper on the plate to prevent sticking (or brush a layer of oil). Lightly knead the batter into balls with water on the palm. Put cold water on the pot. Steam on medium and small heat for 15-20 minutes after boiling.
Step7:It's out of the pot. Let it dry and then give it to the baby.
Step8:With white rice porridge, breakfast is so easy.
Step9:This is how I eat for warm heart. It's more interesting to insert a stick. Warm heart says it's a lollipop.
Cooking tips:1. In this recipe, I use sweet potato and green beans. These two kinds of food are high in fiber. If I eat too much, it will cause flatulence. Therefore, babies with poor spleen and stomach should eat less. Or change to other ingredients. 2. The amount of flour here can be increased or decreased by itself. There is less flour. The meatballs taste softer. But they are flat when steamed out. Lots of flour. The meatballs will be a little harder. 3. Suitable for babies over 20 months who are not allergic to food materials. There are skills in making delicious dishes.
