Scones, also known as English tea cakes and English muffins, are pancakes thicker than wheat pancakes. Usually baking powder is used as starter. It is a common snack in English afternoon tea. I prefer this Kwai powder instead of baking powder. It's a recipe made by yeast fermentation. It's ready the next evening. It's baked early in the morning. Simple and quick, it's delicious.
