Hazelnut mushroom is one of the few wild fungi that people know but still can't be cultivated artificially (currently there are cultivation methods). It can be called mountain treasure and the fourth treasure in Northeast China . Hazelnut mushroom is smooth, delicious and nutritious. It is listed as a kind of food in some developed countries. Hazel mushroom is umbrella shaped, light earthy yellow and brown after aging. From July to August, the hazelnut mushroom grows on the dry base of coniferous and broad-leaved trees, substitute roots, fallen trees and branches buried in the soil. Generally, it grows on the hazel wood hillock in the shallow mountain area, so it is named Hazel mushroom.
