Step1:Clean the lotus root by scraping the skin. Cut a small end and stick the soaked glutinous rice in with chopsticks. Fix the small end with toothpicks. Put it into the pot and add water just before lotus root. Add brown sugar and ice sugar to boil for an hour. Slice it out of the pot. Thicken the sugar water and pour it on.
