Step1:Soak the glutinous rice in advance. Soak the lotus seeds in advance.
Step2:Steam the glutinous rice and take it out later.
Step3:Prepare lard. A large bowl of white lard cooked with lard (the leftover lard can be used to wrap shepherd's purse wonton).
Step4:Put in a teaspoon of lard and 20 grams of soft white sugar. Stir quickly and evenly.
Step5:Brush the bowl with cooking oil.
Step6:Put on the dates, red and green silk, red dates (to the core), lotus seeds, raisins, white gourd sugar (long cut short).
Step7:First put a little glutinous rice on the preserves, and then put the bean paste directly in the preserves. Then spread the red and green silk and pine nuts around the preserves. Finally, cover the glutinous rice until the bean paste is invisible.
Step8:Cover the glutinous rice and level it. Then put it into the steamer and continue to steam for about half an hour.
Step9:After steaming, put it on the basin upside down (and then make two large ones).
Step10:You can cook a little lard and sugar water on Babao rice. This will not only increase the sweetness but also increase the beauty of color (I didn't add it because it's already quite sweet).
Cooking tips:1. The glutinous rice must be soaked thoroughly. It's better to soak overnight so that it will be cooked soon. 2. Before steaming the glutinous rice, pour out the surplus water of soaking the glutinous rice. Just level the glutinous rice. The steamed glutinous rice is not rotten or hard. It's just right. 3. Do not put too much lard as long as you mix the glutinous rice well. When you mix the glutinous rice, you can only add lard without sugar. At last, pour sugar water on it. 4. In fact, there is no fixed standard for candied fruit and other materials. You can increase or decrease them as you like. For example, walnuts, sweet kumquats, melon seeds, pine nuts and so on. 5. Dried fruits such as lotus seeds need to be soaked in advance until soft. 6. Generally, 500g glutinous rice can be made into two large bowls of Babao rice or four small bowls of Babao rice.
