Step2:Soak the glutinous rice at least three hours in advance.
Step3:Put the glutinous rice into the lotus root hole with chopsticks. Don't fill it too full.
Step4:Fix the joint just cut and the filled lotus root with several toothpicks.
Step5:Put the sealed glutinous rice lotus root into the pot. Add some water to the lotus root. Add in the rock sugar, brown sugar and red dates. Bring to a boil over high heat. Cook over medium heat for about an hour.
Step6:Take out the boiled glutinous rice lotus root and slice it. Sprinkle with honey and it's edible.
