Step1:Wash the chicken gizzards. Drain the water and cut into thin slices. You can refrigerate the chicken gizzards. This slice is easier.
Step2:Slice the green onion. Crack the ginger and garlic with a knife.
Step3:Add cold water to the pot. Add onion, ginger, garlic, star anise, prickly ash and dried chilli. Add another tablespoon of salt. Add sliced chicken gizzards.

Step9:Close the lid.
Step10:Refrigerate for 2 hours.
