Lotus root is fresh and hawthorn is in season. When I see this dish in Nicole's book, I'll try it at once ~ ~ I can only say that I like the sour, sweet, crisp taste so much ~ ~ hawthorn is used more. But I still hope that the sour taste is heavier and the sweet taste is less. Next time, put less sugar ~ ~
Step1:The material is simple ~ my lotus root can be made 2 days after it is bought
Step2:Add 250ml water to the pot. Put in the cleaned hawthorn and crystal sugar. Cook for about 30 minutes on a low heat. Leave some juice to dry
Step3:Peel lotus root and cut thin slices. If you don't use it immediately, soak it in vinegar water ~ the whole slice is OK. I cut it a little bit smaller
Step4:Blanch in the pot until 8 ripe. Drain
Step5:Put the cooked hawthorn juice into the bowl. Add some salt and mix well to make the Hawthorn sauce
Step6:Pour Hawthorn sauce into the drained lotus root slices and mix well ~ ~ it tastes so sweet and sour ~
