Brown Rice (also known as germinated rice) is the caryopsis of rice after removing the outer protective layer of rice husk. The inner protective layer (pericarp, testa, nucellar layer) of rice grain is intact. Due to the inner protective layer of coarse fiber, bran wax and so on, its mouth feel is thicker, its texture is tight, and it takes time to cook, but its slimming effect is significant.
