At first, I always thought the chessboard biscuit would be very complicated. I didn't expect that the effect of the first attempt was very good. As long as you have patience, you can do it well, although it's not the best.
Step1:Make vanilla dough first. Melt butter at room temperature. Stir well with sugar. No need to beat. Add the egg liquid in several times and mix well with the beater.
Step2:Then use a scraper to cut and mix. Knead the dough by hand. Refrigerate for half an hour.
Step3:In the same way, knead the cocoa dough and refrigerate it.
Step4:Roll the two dough into a rectangle about the same size.
Step5:Prepare the right amount of egg liquid. Spread it on one of the dough. Then put the other dough on it. Make the dough fit together better. Then cut it into about one centimeter long strips. I cut four. After that, stack the two pieces together. You also need to apply the egg liquid. Pay attention to the stacking order. Make it form a checkerboard.
Step6:Put the folded chessboard biscuits in the freezer for half an hour. You can bake it by cutting it into small pieces with a knife.
Step7:The leftovers can also be made into marble biscuits.
Step8:Preheat the oven. Bake for 56 minutes. The temperature of each oven is different. It's self-adjusting~~
