This is the way to make dumplings in Northeast China. It's made of our special corn leaves. It has a special meaning for me. This is what my mother taught me. I am going to leave this to my daughter. Eating this dumpling makes me feel like my mother.
Step1:Put the flour into the basin. Pour in boiling water and start to stir. Stir into a block. Then pour in the other half of water and start to stir. Knead into a smooth dough and wake up for 20 minutes.
Step2:Put the meat stuffing into the basin and add salt, chicken essence, pepper powder, thirteen spices, old soy sauce, raw soy sauce and proper amount of oil to mix evenl
Step3:Mix the minced meat with chopped onion and ginge
Step4:Put the chopped green onion into the meat filling. Add water in three times. Stir evenly to prevent the meat stuffing from being too dry. The taste is not good. Add water in several times to make the meat stuffing fully absorb water. When eating, the soup will be full-bodied, that is to say, one bite. There will be soup outflow. (the meat filling must be stirred in one direction. The meat filling will taste better.
Step5:The meat is well mixed. You can start packing.
Step6:Pull the dough into a uniform sized preparation. Roll the preparation into a round pancake.

Step9:Wrap the dumplings in corn leaves. Put them in the pot.
Step10:Put cold water in the pot. Put the steaming drawer on the pot and steam. Boil the water and steam for 20 minutes.
