Wonton, commonly known as flat food, originated from the traditional snacks in the north of China, but developed in the south. In addition to being called wonton, they also have many kinds of names. Guangdong calls it wonton. Hubei calls it Baomian. Jiangxi calls it Qingtang. Sichuan calls it transcription.
