Taro cake. I haven't eaten it or made it. I heard it by chance. I thought it would be delicious. But listening to the name, it's delicious. It happens that there is authentic Cantonese sausage at home. Buy a Lipu Taro. It's not very good-looking but delicious.
Step1:Cut taro into small pieces. Cut sausage into small pieces. Soak Haimi for 2 hours in advance.
Step2:Mix the glutinous rice flour with proper amount of water. I use cold water.
Step3:Heat the oil in the pot and stir fry the diced taro. It's a little golden. Put it out of the pot for standby.
Step4:Start the pot again. Add oil and heat it up. Let the onion and ginger explode. Stir fry the sausages and sea rice. Wait for the sausages to fry.
Step5:Add the taro into the sausages and sea rice and stir. Then, stir the glutinous rice paste over low heat and heat it.
Step6:Out of the pot, put it into the steaming plate. Smooth it. Add cold water to the steamer. Put the steamer plate into the steamer. Steam over high heat for about 30 minutes.
Step7:Steamed taro cake.
Step8:Out of the pot, cut into pieces and dish.
Cooking tips:1. Stir the glutinous rice powder water evenly. 2. Steam in cold water. Put more water in the pot to prevent drying. 3. The steamed taro cake can be covered with fresh-keeping film on the steaming plate to prevent too much water vapor from entering the plate. There are skills in making delicious dishes.
