I always think braised pork is too greasy. But I want to eat it again when I see streaky pork. I want to stew it with white gourd.
Step1:Scrape the streaky pork clean. Add some cooking wine to the pot and cook for 15 minutes. Remove and cool. Pour the boiled water into the bowl for use. Cut the white gourd and streaky pork into small pieces. Slice the ginger. Use only the garlic part of the garlic sprout. Stir fry the cut streaky pork into oil over low heat. Stir fry the sugar until it is completely melted. Stir fry the sweet wine for a while.
Step2:Add in the soy sauce. Stir fry the dried red pepper and garlic until the meat is colored.
Step3:Stir fry the wax gourd. Add salt and pepper for three minutes.
Step4:After the winter melon is colored, pour the soup for cooking meat into the stew (you can add water if the soup is not enough. Just after the winter melon is over). After the fire is over, stew on medium heat for 15 minutes. When the winter melon is cooked, you can collect the juice on high fire.
Step5:Haha. I didn't think of taking photos until I was half eaten. The color is a little dark. But it tastes good.
Cooking tips:Because the winter melon is easy to cook. So when you cook the pork first, it's cooked thoroughly. Only when you stew it with the winter melon, it's soft, waxy and not greasy, and it's delicious.
