It's said that Yang Su, the Duke of Yue in Sui Dynasty, liked to eat rice with broken gold, that is, fried rice with eggs. When Emperor Yang of Sui Dynasty visited Jiangdu (now Yangzhou), he also introduced fried rice with egg into Yangzhou.
