Step1:Soak the peeled mung bean cake one day ahead of time. (remember to refrigerate it. It's easy for mung beans to rot outside this day.) if you don't have peeled mung beans at home, you can refrigerate them for more than 4 hours. Then boil them in boiling water. It's easy to peel them.
Step2:Wash the soaked peeled mungbean. Pour it into the steamer with gauze. Then add water into the steamer. Cover the steamer. Steam for 35 minutes in high heat. After that, stew for another 5 minutes
Step3:Take out the steamed mung bean. Add sugar while it's hot
Step4:Use the back of a wooden shovel to crush into pea mud
Step5:Melt butter in a nonstick pan over low hea
Step6:Add in the bean paste and stir fry until the butter is completely absorbed. There is no excess water; (stir fry with medium or small fire all the way.). Dry and wet see personal preferences. Like to wet a little less stir fry for a while. Like to dry a little more stir fry for a while
Step7:Divide the fried mung bean paste into 40g dosage forms each
Step8:Sprinkle some cooked glutinous rice flour or corn starch in the mold; (this is to prevent sticking
Step9:Then put the mung bean paste into the mould and press it flat by hand
Step10:Press out the shape and lift the mold.
Step11:Finish all in turn.
