Before baking, I like Sikang very much. I always think it's very special between cake and bread. A few days ago, I tried a very powerful baking recipe and made a mess of things. This time, I changed a little recipe to make this cat head shape. I didn't expect it to be very successful.
Step1:Add sugar powder to softened butter. Turn the beater on at high speed until it turns white. (the butter should not be too soft. It's just a little bit soft.
Step2:Add a previously separated yolk. Stir well with a spatula.
Step3:Add low gluten flour, baking powder, salt and milk. Mix with a scraper and then press flat. Then knead it into a ball by hand.
Step4:Add prunes. I don't like it too sweet, so the prune is soaked in water for three minutes and then drained
Step5:Flatten the dough to about 2cm and refrigerate it in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
Step6:Use the biscuit mould with the shape of the cat's head to press out the shape. My quantity is exactly the quantity of eight cat's heads. You can also use other molds.
Step7:Break up the other yolk and apply it evenly on the Sikang of each cat's head. I've applied it all. The effect is very good. Preheat the oven at 190 ℃. Bake for about 30 minutes.
Step8:Don't eat what you don't want. And very cute. My son likes it very much. Eat while it's hot. The best taste.
Cooking tips:Just soften the butter a little. It can't be too soft. Milk and yolks are refrigerated. There are skills in making delicious dishes.
