Sikang is a traditional British snack. It's simple and fast. It's like bread, but it's far simpler than bread. You can have a fresh breakfast just one night's waiting.
Step1:Mix flour and salt. Cut butter into small pieces and pour into flour.
Step2:Milk, dry yeast, sugar and whole egg mixture are mixed evenly.
Step3:Call the raisins. Go to the bottom. Soak in water for a while. Set aside.
Step4:Knead butter and flour by hand to form cornmeal. Add 2 liquid mixture.
Step5:Make a smooth dough by hand.
Step6:Soak the raisins in kitchen paper towel to absorb the excess water.
Step7:Flatten the dough, sprinkle half of the raisins, fold it in half, and then knead it into a circle.
Step8:Flatten again. Sprinkle the remaining raisins. Knead them into the shape shown above. Cover them with plastic wrap. Refrigerate them overnight.
Step9:Take out the frozen dough.
Step10:Flatten by hand.
Step11:Cut into 8 pieces with a knife.
Step12:Brush the surface with egg liquid.
Step13:In the baking tray.
Step14:Put it into the middle layer of the preheated 185 degree oven. Heat up and down. Bake for about 15 minutes. Adjust the time according to your oven.
Step15:After baking, take out and dish.
