Step1:Cut tofu into 1 cm cubes. Shred onion, ginger and garlic.
Step2:After the oil is boiled, add some sugar, stir fry garlic, ginger and onion over low heat, and then add Pixian bean paste.
Step3:Stir fry bean paste for a while. Pour in tofu and stir gently.
Step4:Add water and heat for 3 minutes. Add cooking wine, soy sauce and pepper and cook together. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.
Step5:When the water is basically boiled dry, add the starch mixed with water. The ratio of starch and water is 1-3.
Step6:Stir gently. When the soup is thick, turn off the fire.
Step7:Simple Mapo Tofu is ready.
