Whitebait is rich in calcium. It's more than ordinary fish. It can promote bone growth and development, especially for children and the elderly. The amount of calcium is 761 mg per 100 grams of silver carp, which is the top of the fish group. Silverfish is the first freshwater fish that BBO promotes for babies. It was originally a sea fish that came up along the Yangtze River. Later, Taihu Lake was settled here with a good environment and complete supporting facilities. So, the silverfish we buy are basically freshwater fish.
Step1:Prepare the ingredients. I use frozen silverfish. They are sold in the supermarket. But they are not dried.
Step2:First, peel and seed the tomatoes. Take only the meat.
Step3:Then chop up the tomato meat for later use.
Step4:Break up the whole egg.
Step5:Put all the flour, tomatoes, whitebait and egg mixture in a big bowl. Stir it. If it's a baby who eats whitebait, he can cut it into pieces. Beta's two years old. I won't cut more pieces.
Step6:That's what it looks like when it's stirred evenly. If there is a dry dough, you can make it still for a while. Mix it to make a flowing batter.
Step7:Oil the nonstick pot. Fire. Put the batter into the pot.
Step8:Turn the heat for 2 minutes. Wait for the edge to change color and solidify. The little bubbles on the batter will be ready to turn over.
Step9:Turn it over and fry it for another 1-2 minutes. Use toothpick to stick it down and no wet batter will be brought up.
Step10:This is a good cake. Some sweet and sour taste of tomato can cover the fishy smell of some silverfish. Baby can eat calcium and resist hunger.
Cooking tips:* if you are afraid of the smell of whitebait, you can marinate it with ginger, onion or lemon juice in advance. *Children over 1 year old can be seasoned with appropriate soy sauce. Or dip it in some ketchup. There are skills in making delicious dishes.
