Step1:Wash the spareribs with running water and chop them into 5 cm long segments. Then boil in boiling water for 5 minutes. Remove the foam and drain the water for use.
Step2:Wash potatoes and carrots. Peel them. Cut them into hobs
Step3:Cut the old corn into round sections. Remove seeds from pumpkin. Cut into hobs with skin. Wash the oil beans. Pinch off both ends. Break them into two halves.
Step4:Heat the oil over medium heat. When it's 50% hot, add the star anise, pepper, ginger slices, cinnamon and saute. Then add the sauce and salt and stir fry to make it fragrant.
Step5:Put the spareribs, carrots, potato, pumpkin, oil beans and corn into the pot and stir well. Then add some water. Just leave the dish to serve. Turn to a low heat, cover and simmer for about 50 minutes.
