The traditional donkey roll should be made of glutinous rice flour and steamed with water. My version is more chewy because of the addition of glutinous rice flour, sugar and milk. It should be called the luxury version of donkey roll.
Step1:Mix all main material
Step2:Bring the water to the boil. Put the glutinous rice balls in the lid and steam for 12 minutes.
Step3:Take out the glutinous rice balls and cover them with plastic wrap or lid to cool them until they are not hot.
Step4:Sprinkle the fried soybean flour on the chopping board. Put the glutinous rice balls on the soybean flour. First, simply press it with your fist. Sprinkle a thin layer of soybean powder on the front. Use a rolling pin to roll the glutinous rice dough into a thin rectangle.
Step5:Spread a layer of bean paste evenly on the dough.
Step6:Tightly roll up from bottom to top. After pinching and forming, cut into pieces.
